Why is my gift necessary?

The Jaguars Athletics Department pays scholarship costs for over 200 student-athletes to the many different academic colleges at IUPUI.  For the 2007-2008 academic year, the department will pay the university $2 million for these grants-in-aid. These realities create a significant need for private contributions.
Your investment in the Jaguars Athletics Club allows us to develop a well-rounded student-athlete while instilling core academic, social, and athletic values.

Your Jaguars Athletics Club contribution at work

Any charitable contribution automatically makes you a member of the Jaguars Athletics Club, an organization that exists to support the scholarships and academic service expenditures of IUPUI's student-athletes.
Imagine the difficulties of trying to finance tuition, books, and tutors, while studying hard in the classroom and practicing equally as hard everyday. These are some of the demands faced by our student-athletes and thanks to the generosity of members like you, we can help manage these responsibilities and prepare them for life after graduation. We make the dream of excellence in sports and academics a reality.
We know how much you enjoy participating in Jaguars athletics by investing your time in attending the games. Why not show your support by participating in the Jaguars Athletics Club?
Please download a renewal form or call our Associate Athletics Director for External Affairs, John Rasmussen, at (317) 274-5453 for more information or to make your gift now.
